I am still surprised at how many people I meet who know about Jesus, who have been to church, who believe in God, yet they have never invited Jesus into their heart. Or, they do not understand who they are in Christ, and they do not understand whose they are. Some have simply drifted, forgotten, or fallen away. Whether this is your first time, or you simply need to call upon Him again, pray this with me.
If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved. For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved. -Romans 10:9-10
Salvation is to be found through him alone; in all the world there is no one else whom God has given who can save us. -Acts 4:12
Heavenly Father I come to you in the name of Jesus because I believe, and I humbly repent for sinning against You. I acknowledge that I need Your forgiveness. I believe You sent Your Son Jesus to save me. I believe He died for me, and on the third day, He rose again so that I would be saved. Jesus, forgive me of sins. Come into my heart. Baptize me in the Holy Spirit. I accept You, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus for loving me first, so that I can love You. In Jesus’ name. Amen
